New Pattern

I recently purchased a pattern from a wonderful etsian.

Here is what my Boo Bears look like. Please meet Snowflake and Misty Mints.

I had made a white one first a polar bear if you will in honor of our never ending snow but he was snafoozled by my youngest. He lugs him around and gives him hugs and kisses. He is so cute.

Snow

We had snow this morning but it warmed up and went away. YAY!!!

Then i was informed we are due for a snow storm. Oh well. It is pretty!!

What fun to step away from my usual sewing and into something a little different. I still apply the basics with color and layouts but with paper. The boys are getting into it aswell. It is nice to do something together I really do enjoy it.

Well off to bed and sweet dreams of creating.

SPRING?

Well it is march first and a slight sign of spring here in central Alberta. The snow melted and I was able to shovel it off the deck. No sign of grass yet but I'm sure a few more warmish days like today and it will pop up.
We are in our new home now and are for the most part set up. I have managed to set an area in which to do paper crafting. My new hobby! It was tough to get inspired as I have been trying for awhile. My sewing machines are not set up as my basement is occupied at the moment. So maybe it is easier for me this time around. NO distractions!!
I have found that creating with paper is very much like sewing but of course with paper. Layering, color combos and best yet my kids can join in. the boys seem to enjoy it and the baby can join in as well. He tends to color on everything (himself,the walls, the dog) Thank goodness for washable marker. LOL.
I feel that most of my cards are decent enough for a stroll on etsy.

OMG!!!

What the heck my blog does not update itself? LOL
Things have been crazy busy here and to top it all off we are moving. 3 sleeps and 4 days away. I am excited and worried of course. I pray everything goes smoothly. We did hire movers as hubby is away at work. Nothing should get broken this time.
This is by far the longest i have not created something. My house is a disaster as I go through all of my crap. I don't know where it came from but man there is alot of it.
Well i'm off to bury myself in some chaos.

Brain Freeze!!

Well my blog is not being updated as much as i would like. I have good intentions but kids and work seem to get in the way. Oh and I TWITTER!!! Hehe.
I have decided to take a mental break from work (sewing) and do some creative sewing. I am currently working on some patterns for critters and such. I'm not worried about when they have to be finished and i seam to accomplish more.

MY MOJO IS BACK

Well my New Years has had a sad slow start. Bummed out after the holidays and still no ability to pull money from my ars. I have made zero resolutions for the New Year and have stuck to that with no problems at all.
But alas I have been brain storming as I lay quietly with my boys at bed time. They still want everything as apparently christmas was not enough for them. Unfortunatly they have to eat and they haven't got the idea that food costs money to.

So I have some brilliant new ideas for my etsy shops and I still have to finish the baby slings I have been plugging away on. After 80+ slings they tend to be manotonous.( did i spell that right?). Only 14 more to go and then 10 nursing covers that were just ordered.
Maybe the new year won't be so slow.
So now I'm going to clean the living room there are toys everywhere.

Sorry it's late but I have not caought up yet I'm still back in Nov. of last year.

I am going to try to get caught up this year, Plus I am hoping to get a little more creative and make a few life changing decisions.
